Family RV road trip through Colorado
There is still time before the snows hit tune your RV to Colorado for a family adventure more excellent. From camping in the Rocky Mountains to dig for dinosaur bones and climbing in cold cliff dwellings in Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado will go down family memorable travel book as one of the best.
Before we go further, here are some RV sites you should know about:

Colorado has more than 500 mountain peaks throughout the state. The highest point of the state (and throughout the Rocky Mountains for that matter) is Mt. Elbert has a height of 14,440 feet. Veer east from the southern Rocky Mountains and find the plains of eastern Colorado. These plains are a section of the Great Plains in Colorado with ranges of elevation of 3000 feet to 6562 feet. The land is used mainly for rainfed agriculture and livestock, although you'll find in agriculture occasional irrigation. The drive west takes you to some notable peaks such as Longs Peak, Mount Evans, Pikes Peak and Spanish Peaks.
Continue into Rocky Mountain and you'll see several large parks. One is North Park, east of the Cordillera Central. North Park is a high basin surrounding a large valley Jackson County. Nearby are the waters of the North Platte River, Michigan, Illinois River and the river of Canada. On the west side of the Continental Divide East Park is located in Grand County. Then there's the South Park with the South Platte River as its water source.
Driving west This allows her family in Colorado to see the desert basins of the state, alpine mountains and the vast Great Plains. We also get to see Pike's Peak, the mountain in the front range of the Rocky Mountains and only 10 miles from here is that of Colorado Springs.
Make sure to pass through Denver, the capital and the city Colorado's most populous. Take a stop and enjoy their parks and gardens. If you have time, take the opportunity to visit the Forney Transportation Museum where his family comes to see hundreds of cars and other means of transport.
Denver Merchandise Mart is also worth a stop. Your kids will love to participate in the Children's Expo Denver. Admission to this exhibition is just $ 9 for adults and children are free ... and parking is free!
Your family may receive units most picturesque near Denver - Golden, Boulder and Fort Collins. Golden Journey through Boulder Highway 93 will thrill the kids with all its twists and turns.
Almost all cities will offer their journey through a fun activity for children oriented. From child-friendly activities such as flag Butterfly and Insect Center in Westminster, or the Museum of Collage Children in Boulder, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs, his RV road trip takes you an adventure to another.
